The German "Energy on Track" pavilion at EXPO 2017 in Astana

From 10 June to 10 September, EXPO 2017 was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, with the motto "Future Energy". The event drew attention to one of the most important issues for the future of humanity. With its "Made in Germany" energy revolution, Germany is one of the global frontrunners in this area, and also plays a leading role in the expansion of renewable energies.

The German "Energy on Track" pavilion invited guests to touch, test out and interact with the latest technology. Attracting some 600,000 visitors, the pavilion proved to be one of the most popular at the show. High praise for the German exhibition also came from specialist circles. The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) gave the German pavilion the Gold Award for Theme Development.
